AmbaSat was pleased to welcome Rishi Sunak MP, former Prime Minister, to its offices in Northallerton, North Yorkshire, for a visit to meet the team and learn more about the company’s ongoing work in satellite technology and space engineering.
During the visit, Rishi met members of the AmbaSat team, saw examples of the technology being developed and discussed the company’s progress and future ambitions.
The visit also provided an opportunity to reconnect following an earlier meeting in 2022, when AmbaSat Co-Founder Martin Platt first introduced Rishi to the company at the opening of the C4DI and Barclays Eagle Labs facility in Northallerton.
Since then, AmbaSat has continued to develop its satellite technology and engineering capabilities, including work on European Space Agency-supported projects involving hydrogen monitoring and resilient satellite communications.
The company remains focused on developing accessible satellite technologies and progressing its plans for future satellite launches from the UK.
AmbaSat would like to thank Rishi for taking the time to visit and for his continued interest in the company’s work.
The visit was recently featured in The Northern Echo, highlighting the innovative space technology being developed here in North Yorkshire.
