Scheduled Access to Low Earth Orbit

Missions starting 2026-27

Sovereign UK Launch Capability

By partnering with Skyrora to launch from Saxa Vord Spaceport, AmbaSat offers a fully sovereign route to orbit. This domestic supply chain significantly reduces the administrative burden associated with international campaigns. For UK and European customers, this eliminates the complex ITAR/EAR export control delays and international logistics costs often faced when launching via US or Asian providers.

Our quarterly mission cadence is designed specifically for agile R&D. Unlike traditional ride-share models that can suffer from unpredictable delays, AmbaSat provides scheduled, predictable access to Low Earth Orbit. This allows sensor developers to plan rapid iteration cycles, moving from ground prototype (TRL 4) to flight-heritage (TRL 9) within a single financial year.

Dedicated Payload Capacity

AmbaSat’s dedicated payload capacity ensures your experiment is treated as a mission priority, not secondary ballast. All slots include full mission assurance support, from initial mechanical fit-checks at our integration facility to final launch readiness reviews.

Mission Parameters and Service Levels

Low Earth Orbit

High-inclination polar orbits provide global Earth coverage and consistent lighting conditions, ideal for optical sensing and earth observation.

Quarterly Launches

Scheduled flight opportunities starting in 2026/27 allow for rapid technology iteration, enabling you to fly, test, and re-fly in months rather than years.

Modular Slot Architecture

Choose from standard 1U, 2U, or 3U configurations, or utilise our ultra-low-cost ChipSat slots for component-level validation.

Secure Downlink API

All mission data is downlinked via our UK ground station network and pushed immediately to your secure AmbaSat Dashboard for real-time analysis.

The Route to Flight

Book Manifest: Select Your Slot Size

Choose the payload form factor that matches your experiment needs, from single ChipSat slots to a full ‘Flight Tray’ for more complex arrays.

Integration: Ship for Fit-Check

Send your hardware to our cleanroom facility, where our team conducts mechanical fit-checks, functional testing, and final integration into the deployment structure.

Deployment: Launch & Data Downlink

Following launch from Saxa Vord, your experiment is activated in orbit, with telemetry and payload data immediately accessible via our secure API dashboard.

Our Partners

Full Mission Support

We understand that for many organisations, this is your first orbital campaign. Our engineering team provides end-to-end support throughout the process, handling the UK CAA licensing, ITU filings, and insurance requirements so you can focus entirely on your experiment data.
