I bought the kit recommended. I've got the 500x microscope but it's dead hard to see where to put the solder. Anyway, I'm making some progress, although the solders look a bit ugly. I've got clued up through YouTube videos on how to solder circuit boards.
I'm at this stage, I've soldered the two resistors:
**Inside the component pack, locate the strip of capacitors.
SMD (Surface Mount Device) capacitors do not have a polarity and can be soldered onto the board in either direction.
Solder Capacitor C1 (1uF) to the board. Location as shown below**
C1 has two contacts, there are two capacitors in the pack, how does this fit together?
It would be useful to see a photo of how the finished soldered part should look at each stage.
When it comes to the microprocessor I don't know how I am going to do this. The contacts are tiny.
Be useful to be able to post pictures on this forum too. They are worth a thousand words you know.
